VMS Barber Shop is a FiveM barber job: it turns the city's barbers into businesses that players can own and work, while NPC barbers keep the remaining locations open. Servers that want grooming to be roleplay, not a free menu, get both at once, and the config decides how many player-run and NPC-run shops operate side by side.

How it plays

A customer sits down and opens the styling menu. Hair, beard and eyes are edited one at a time, with the camera framing just that part and turning in 45 degree steps for a look from the side or back. When the style is set, the cut plays out as an animation that bystanders see in sync, whether the person with the clippers is another player or an NPC. Owners charge separately for hair, beard and eyes, so a quick trim can cost less than a full makeover.

For server owners

  • Choose how many shops are player-owned and how many run on NPC barbers
  • Price hair, beards and eyes independently
  • Custom hairstyles your server streams are detected without extra setup; give them friendly names in the config
  • Shops open through a TextUI prompt, for example the studio's interact resource

Before you install

  • Runs on QBCore or ESX
  • Appearance: fivem-appearance, qb-clothing, or skinchanger paired with esx_skin. illenium-appearance support came in a later VMS build than the ones in this download
  • Works under OneSync as well as OneSync Infinity
  • Resmon, as measured by the studio: 0.00ms away from the shop interior, 0.03ms while a cut is in progress
