Tattoo Shop
Makes tattoo parlours a job for players, with NPC artists elsewhere and a price on every single design.
VMS Tattoo Shop is a FiveM tattoo job: parlours that players can own and work in, with NPC-run parlours keeping ink on offer across the rest of the map. The config sets how many of each type are open. It fits servers that want body art to come from another player at a counter, not a free menu.
How it plays
The customer reclines on the tattoo chair and scrolls through designs while the camera moves to wherever each one sits on the body. Every tattoo has its own price, so a small piece on the wrist and a full back piece can cost very different amounts. Base GTA has only a handful of face designs, so VMS drew its own add-on face tattoos and packed them in, with more of them in the 1.0.3 build than in 1.0.0. Names follow the language the game is running in unless the owner overrides them.
For server owners
- Balance owned parlours against NPC-run ones in the config
- Price each design individually
- Rename tattoos in the config if the defaults do not suit
- Make extra face designs by following the walkthrough in the VMS docs
- Parlours open on the game's help prompt, or on a TextUI resource if you switch it on in the config
Before you install
- ESX, or QBCore
- One of these for appearance: fivem-appearance, qb-clothes, or esx_skin plus skinchanger. illenium-appearance support came in a later VMS build than the ones in this download
- A reclining tattoo chair; the stock GTA parlours already have one
- OneSync, including Infinity, is fine
- VMS measures 0.00ms resmon outside the parlour and 0.03ms while the menu is open
