Vehicleshop
Lets one install run car, aircraft and boat showrooms, each with its own stock, blip and test drive rules.
VMS Vehicleshop is a FiveM dealership script that lets a single resource serve every vehicle lot on a server. Cars, aircraft and boats can each get their own showroom, placed wherever the city needs one, rather than a separate copy of a script for every seller. It is aimed at owners who want vehicle sales spread across the map without juggling duplicate installs.
How it plays
A buyer walks up to a showroom, either stepping onto its marker or talking to an NPC salesperson, and the menu lists only what that location sells, sorted into categories. They pick a paint colour before paying. If the lot offers it, a timed test drive comes first, at whatever price that showroom charges, including none at all. After the sale the vehicle rolls out with a newly generated plate.
For server owners
- Give every showroom its own blip, categories, camera angles and stock list
- Turn test drives on or off per location and set what each costs
- Lock a lot to a single job, and to selected grades of it, for faction or player-run dealerships
- Hand vehicle keys and fuel to your existing resources through a config function
- Add a category by dropping in an SVG icon that shares its name
Before you install
- Frameworks: ESX or QBCore, switched in the config file
- Optional: npctalk from VMS, or a similar NPC conversation resource, if showrooms should open by talking to a salesperson
- Keys and fuel stay with your own resources, wired through the config function above
Also by VMS
Once players have wheels, the Clothes Store and the Barber cover the rest of a shopping street. The full range is on the VMS studio page.
