CodeM's mMechanic is a FiveM mechanic job in CodeM's mSeries; the studio first showed it on Cfx.re in September 2023. It handles the car work and the business behind it, which suits servers where a workshop is run by players with ranks, wages and a shared vault.

How it plays

A customer rolls in and the mechanic opens the tuning menu. Its sections run from performance upgrades and bodywork to interior, livery, horn, neon and paint choices, plus repair and a wash, and each part comes with an image. As options are chosen, the camera moves to that area of the car, a freecam allows a closer look, and a summary keeps the parts, the vehicle's specs and the running price in view.

Headlight xenons and neons are coloured with a free RGB picker rather than a preset list. When the car is done, one click sends the bill to the nearby customer, who reads the itemised list before paying.

For server owners

  • Run the business from the boss menu, which holds the shop stash and its vault
  • Hire, promote, demote or let go of staff, and track what each earns and how many bills they send
  • Edit what every rank is allowed to do
  • Keep logs of vault activity and of what employees do
  • Fill the job panel with your own quick actions

Before you install

  • ESX or QBCore
  • Needs game build 2372 at minimum
  • Shop money uses esx_addonaccount (ESX) or qb-management (QBCore)

Also by CodeM

After the tuning, mGarage gives finished cars somewhere to live, and the CodeM studio page lists the rest of the studio's work.
